Pints O' Plenty is owned and operated by Doug John. Doug holds an undergraduate degree from Lynchburg College in Biology and Chemistry. He also received his Master's degree in Administration from LC. Doug began brewing in 1990 after being introduced to homebrewing by a friend and because of his desire to make Belgian Ales. As his passion grew so did his skills. Doug was named the National Champion in the 1999 American Homebrewers Contest in the Strong Ale category. His Strong Scottish Ale was chosen among over 3000 entries as the best Strong Ale.

1st place Dominion Cup Belgian Ale category 1996

Doug has the privilege of sharing his experience and knowledge of brewing with each new Pints O' Plenty customer. As a customer of Pints O' Plenty, Doug will visit your home and help you craft your first beer or wine. There is never a charge for this if you live within 30 miles of Forest. It is your guarantee that your beer or wine will be GREAT and you will be proud to serve this to friends and family. Group lessons are welcomed by appointment.
